A Pleasantville man has been indicted for murder and other charges in the September killing of an Egg Harbor City man, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner announced Thursday.
Robert Terrell, 32, allegedly was the accomplice of a still unnamed person in the killing of Rasheed Hines.
Hines, 29, was found shot at the intersection of Linden and Meriod avenues in Pleasantville at 5:12 p.m. on Sept. 10. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he was pronounced dead about a half-hour later.
He died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the autopsy.
Terrell was arrested Oct. 26, at the Shamrock Hotel in Atlantic City for allegedly driving the shooter from the scene of the killing.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $75,000 bail.
Then, on Nov. 7, additional murder charges were added for allegedly helping the unnamed killer. His bail is now set at $500,000.
