Mainland student questioned about alleged 'kill list'

  • News
Linwood police are investigating after a Mainland Regional High School student was questioned about an alleged "kill list." The Linwood Police Department responded to Mainland Regional High School on Friday afternoon after several students told staff that another student had made statements about having a “kill list” and that he wanted to gas bomb the school, according to police. The student was immediately removed from class by Mainland staff and later taken to the Linwood Police Department where he was interviewed, along with his parents who police said supported the investigation. The Linwood Police Department is currently investigating with help from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Linwood Police Department Detective Bureau at 609-926-7968.
