Fugitives from North Carolina arrested in EHT

Two fugitives wanted in an armed robbery in North Carolina were arrested at an Egg Harbor Township motel Friday morning. Carl J. Perry, 24, and Ebbe Perry, 22, both of Charlotte, N.C., were taken in without incident at the Hi-Ho Motel in the township West Atlantic City section, township Detective Capt. Christopher Ruef said. The joint investigation was spearheaded by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, and included officers from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, along with the Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township and Pleasantville police departments Both were charged with being fugitives from justice and were lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending extradition. Carl Perry was additionally charged on a summons with possession of an ounce of marijuana.
