Atlantic City man sexually assaulted at least two children, new charges say

Santos Blanco

  • News

An Atlantic City man already charged with sexually assaulting a child over several years assaulted at least one other child, according to new charges.

Santos Blanco, 41, is accused of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree endangering in connection with the second victim, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said Tuesday.

Blanco was charged with similar crimes last month.

He was arrested Sept. 19, after a month-long joint investigation with detectives from the Pleasantville and Atlantic City police departments, and detectives from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.

He was ordered held pending trial by Judge Patricia Wild during a detention hearing last month.

Both cases are being prosecuted by Chief Assistant Prosecutor John Flammer.
