Holy Spirit High School vandals caught thanks to tipsters and cameras

  • News
Five teens who vandalized Holy Spirit High School were quickly caught thanks to several tipsters and the school's cameras, police said. Several areas of the school, including the gym and football stadium, were vandalized early Friday morning, police said. The suspects broke several windows and spray-painted lewd images and words onto Holy Spirit logos and pictures. But the cameras caught the culprits' images, and found the teens — who attend a rival high school — left a house party in Absecon before entering Holy Spirit. Police were able to identify the five juveniles with help from numerous calls and tips, and each has been charged with burglary and criminal mischief. The case is being handled by Patrolman Steve Hance. Anyone with more information is asked to call police at 609-641-0667.
