Millville man arrested in string of robberies

Millville police have arrested a man tied to four robberies. Anthony Ruberti, 27, was wanted for stealing money from registers at four business from Nov. 22 to Dec. 7, police said. Surveillance photos were released Nov. 26, showing a suspect then wanted in three robberies: at the Walgreens and Burger King, both on High Street, and the Dollar General on Main. On Dec. 7, the Wawa on West Main Street also was robbed, according to the report. An investigation led to Ruberti, and a search of his residence, police said. When police came around 11 p.m. Tuesday, they found several key pieces of evidence, according to the report, which did not detail what the evidence is. Ruberti is charged with four counts each of robbery and theft, and is being held in the Cumberland County Jail.
