Galloway man cited in Hamilton Twp crash

A Galloway Township man was cited for careless driving after a crash late Monday morning.
Hamilton Township police were called to Route 50 near Birch Street for a crash involving an overturned vehicle at 11:23 a.m., police said.
Tristen Barry, 22, was driving north on Route 50, when he rear-ended an SUV driven by 77-year-old Barbara Dubois, the investigation found.
The impact caused Dubois' Toyota RAV4 to overturn, entrapping her and passenger, John Dubois, 78, inside, according to the report.
The Mays Landing couple was removed from the vehicle, and taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus in Atlantic City.
Barry was issued a summons.
The Mays Landing and Laureldale fire departments, along with Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad and AtlantiCare paramedics assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
