https://www.facebook.com/jennifer.tripp.79/videos/10100795681135847/ Atllantic City Police Officer Jerard Ingenito decided his beloved Eagles shouldn't be the only ones celebrating a new ring Thursday. While he and girlfriend Mary McCloskey were still basking in the glow of the Super Bowl Champions' parade down Broad Street, he took to his knee. Friends started cheering and celebrating before Ingenito even got a chance to get out his proposal. He said, “We won a ring, so you most certainly deserve a ring, too," McCloskey wrote on her Facebook in announcing that she said yes. The clerk for he Attorney General's Office in Voorhees said she's marrying her best friend and the love of her life. As the couple hugged and kissed, some began to sing "Fly Eagles Fly" before someone in the crowd started a chant of "She said yes." McCloskey's friend Jennifer Tripp captured the event on video. Tripp said Ingenito was very nervous on the way to the parade. "He told me to feel his heart and, when I did, I felt the box the ring was in sitting inside his jacket," Tripp said. "It was awesome and priceless. As he said... the Eagles got a ring, so Mary deserves her ring, too."
