Somers Point woman seriously hurt in one-car crash

A Somers Point woman was seriously injured after she was thrown from her car in a Hamilton Township crash Wednesday night. Corina Hallock, 45, was heading north on Weymouth Road near milepost 220 at about 7:21 p.m. when she lost control of her 2003 four-door Lexus and struck a utility pole, police said. The impact split the pole in half and threw Hallock from the car, according to the report. She was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus by trhe Township of Hamilton Rescue Squd and AtlantiCare paramedics. Weymouth Road was closed for about two hours. The crash is under investigation.
