Atlantic City police targeting prostitution Friday arrested 20 women and two men.
On e of the women, 37-year-old Ashlea Benner of Atlantic City, was wanted as a fugitive out of Pennsylvania. She was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The others arrested were released on summonses.
The women ranged in age from 18 to 47, with 11 from Atlantic City.
Two were from Tuckerton. There were also women from Mount Laurel, Galloway Township, Ocean City, Carney's Point, Somers Point and Philadelphia.
The men were 46 and 49 years old from Atlantic City.
The investigation by the Special Investigations Section focused on prostitution along Pacific Avenue and in the casinos.
