Three men arrested while burglarizing Atlantic City business, police say

  • News
Three men were arrested this week after trying to burglarize a commercial property. Atlantic City detectives were called to Starkman Distributors at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for a burglary in progress in the 1000 block of New York Avenue, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. The three men already got through one door and were working on the second when police approached, according to the report. The men fled in different directions, but were all taken into custody. The detectives found a screwdriver and pry bar that were used to get through the door. Tyrone Montague, 52, of Egg Harbor Township, Wayne Anderson, 56, of Atlantic City, and Harry Woodall, 54, also of Atlantic City, were charged with burglary, conspiracy, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. All three also had active warrants and were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. [gallery type="slideshow" size="large" ids="6349,6341,6343"]
