  • News
An Atlantic City man wanted in the stabbing of his girlfriend was arrested Wednesday. Robert Taylor, 38, allegedly stabbed the woman during a domestic dispute June 5, when he fled before police arrived. The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment. Officers Ryan Kov, one of the officers who responded to the initial call, recognized Taylor when he saw him at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Pacific Avenue, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. Taylor gave a fake name, according to the report. But Kov placed him in custody and found Taylor's identification in his pocket. Taylor is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and hindering apprehension. He is now in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
