Two women found dead inside a Ventnor apartment have been identified as a mother and daughter.
Elaine Rosen, 87, and her daughter, 67-year-old Michelle Gordon, were found dead at about 10:25 a.m. Sunday inside the eighth-floor apartment inside the Vassar Square Condominiums, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
The two women were victims of apparent blunt-force trauma, Tyner said. Autopsies for both are scheduled for Tuesday.
The joint investigation is continuing between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Ventnor City Police Department.
No arrests have been made at this time, but the prosecutor has assured the public is not in danger.
