An Atlantic City man who failed to appear for sentencing in a shooting has been indicted for bail jumping, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner announced Tuesday.
Taquay Dunston, 20, was set to be sentenced April 13, after pleading guilty to aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and aggravated assault by pointing a gun.
Dunston was among five men who pleaded in connection with a gang-related shooting inside a room at the Taj Mahal March 24, 2016.
Dunston faced consecutive terms totaling 11 years with six years of parole ineligibility under the plea agreement.
