An Atlantic City who admitted to firing a gun during a 2016 shoot-out inside an Atlantic City casino hotel is now on the run, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
Taquay Dunston, now 21, was set to be sentenced April 13 on charges including aggravated assault and weapons charges.
He faced a sentence of 11 years with six years of parole ineligibility. But failed to appear at his sentencing after bailing out following his plea in February.
Four gang members were struck during the March 24, 2016, shoot-out inside the Taj Mahal between members of the Back Maryland-based Head Shot Gang and Fetti G, which is based in Stanley Holmes Village, according to the investigation by Atlantic City’s Violent Crimes Unit.
VCU detectives found four loaded handguns during the investigation: A 9mm semi-automatic, 38-caliber revolver, 40-caliber semi-automatic and .22-caliber revolver.

Dunston is now wanted on a warrant for bail jumping, Tyner announced Friday.
Video surveillance captured Dunston firing a handgun into the hotel room.
