Four teens were able to help a little boy find his way home early Tuesday morning, police said.
The 5-year-old was walking outside by himself at about 1 a.m.
Tarence Walker, 18, and Donovan Walker, Akeem Walker and Dominic Brown, all 17, saw the boy walking on New Road around Woodland Avenue, and called police, according to the report.
They then stayed with the little boy until officers arrived, and helped in finding where the child lives, police said.
"The actions of these young men exemplify compassion and mental fortitude, and averted what could have been a tragic result," Pleasantville police said. "Thank you gentleman you are an example for others."
