An Atlantic City teenager was arrested in an armed robbery with help from officers in the city's Surveillance Center, police said.
A 63-year--old man stopped officers at 6:23 p.m. Friday, and said he had just been robbed at gunpoint in the area of Tennessee and Central avenues, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
The teen demanded money, the victim told police. When the unnamed victim refused, the suspect hit him in the head with the gun and took his money.
A description was given to officers, including those in the department's Surveillance Center.
More than an hour later, surveillance personnel notified officers that the suspect had returned to the scene, Fair said.

Officers John Bell and Dylan Imbrenda found the 16-year-old boy, and arrested him. He had a loaded handgun, according to the report.
The teen is charged with robbery, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
He was taken to Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
