A Philadelphia man is suspected of burglarizing four Egg Harbor Township businesses after he was found in possession of a vehicle stolen from one of them.
Joseph Pinnel, 40, was arrested by Abington Township police in Pennsylvania on Thursday, police said.
At the time of his arrest, Pinnel was in possession of a vehicle stolen from an Egg Harbor Township business, police said.
The vehicle was stolen following a burglary to that unnamed business, according to Deputy Chief Christopher Ruef.
Pinnel is suspected of burglarizing four businesses in Egg Harbor Township this month and numerous more in the tri-state area, Ruef said.
During the investigation, Egg Harbor Township police recovered a pick-up truck and a large construction-style trailer that were both recently reported to have been stolen from businesses around Philadelphia.
The case is being investigated locally by Egg Harbor Township Detectives Scott Hiltner, Kyle Warren and Jeffrey Lancaster.
