A wanted Atlantic City man was arrested Tuesday with a loaded handgun, police said.
Officers Franco Sydnor and Danish Mohammad saw Emanuel Williams in the 1600 block of Atlantic Avenue, and knew that he was wanted, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Williams, 27, was taken into custody without incident.
As the officers searched him, they found a loaded handgun in his waistband, Fair said.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Fair would not say why Williams was being sought.
Williams was being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
