Two arrested in Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall break-in

  • News
Two men have been arrested in the burglary of an Atlantic City business before it opened. Officers were called to the Beer Hall at 133 S. Tennessee Ave. on Oct. 29, and found that
two men had broken in through a second-floor window and stolen several flat-screen televisions, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. The Beer Hall was not opened at the time, but has since had its soft opening. Officers Jamira Norwood and Kevin McGloin arrested Thomas Lipton on Nov. 6 in the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue. Lipton, 27, of Tuckerton, had several bags of heroin on him at the time, according to the report. Officer Armani Rex arrested Michael Figueroa on Saturday inside Renaissance Plaza. Figueroa, 42, of Atlantic City, and Lipton were each charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and conspiracy. Lipton was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Both were released on a summons with a future court date.
