Alligator spotted in Mullica Township

  • News
An alligator is loose in Mullica Township, police warned residents this week. The 3- to 4-foot-long alligator “was confirmed to be in Hamburg Avenue between Route 30 and Duere Street” in the township’s Devonshire section, police said in a Facebook post Tuesday. Residents are warned to be cautious when letting small pets out in the area. No one should approach the alligator. If seen, they should call police. “We are working with our partners in the animal protection and care fields to locate the animal,” the post said. Any sightings should be reported to police dispatch at 609-652-2037. The police chief released a video to Cat Country, which posted it on their YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/sI0hKUDMz88
