Atlantic City man crashed two parked cars while drunk, police say

An Atlantic City man was drunk when he struck two parked cars and attempted to flee, police said.
Police were called to the 3300 block of Fairmount Avenue at 8:22 p.m. for a motor vehicle crash, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Officers arrived to find three cars were involved in the crash, but two were parked and unoccupied.
Witnesses told police the driver tried to leave the scene, according to the report.
Johsian Cruz, 26, was found a short distance away and was under the influence of alcohol, officers found.
He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus with minor injuries.
Cruz was charged with multiple motor vehicle summonses, including driving while intoxicated, Fair said.
He was released on a summons.
The crash was investigated by Officer Tyler Daily. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 609-347-5744. Information may also be texted anonymously to tip411 (8411), beginning the text with ACPD.
