There will be a picnic in an Atlantic Park on Saturday.
Ladies in Prayer Succeed are sponsoring the even for children at Oscar E. McClinton Waterfront Park.
It is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It will include food — "The men are cooking," the announcement says — dodgeball, double dutch, prizes and more.
The event is free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
