Free Narcan at AtlantiCare pharmacies

AtlantiCare will mark International Overdose Awareness Day a day early by providing free Narcan at its pharmacies Friday.
Recovery specialists will also be available at each location.
The Narcan will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while supplies last.
The locations include:

• AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, 1925 Pacific Ave., Atlantic City
• William Gormley AtlantiCare HealthPlex, 1401 Atlantic Ave., Atlantic City
• AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus, 65 W. Jimmie Leeds Road, Pomona
• AtlantiCare Galloway, 54 W. Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway Township
• AtlantiCare Health Park at Manahawkin, 517 Route 72 West, Manahawkin

AtlantiCare Foundation members and Addictions Services teams will also visit first responders throughout Atlantic County to deliver thank you notes and soft pretzels to acknowledge their contributions caring for people with substance use disorder.
Funding for the free Narcan is made in part through a donation from Robert and Helene Hordes of Linwood.
