This year's broadcast of the Miss America pageant found itself on a new network, NBC, and in a new home - Connecticut. Mohegan Sun played host to the pageant after the decision to leave the city where it was founded ... Atlantic City. While 51 contestants competed for the crown of Miss America 2.0, only one woman reigned victorious - Miss Virginia , Camille Shrier, a 24 year-old biochemist who performed a science experiment for her talent.
