An Atlantic City man was arrested after a domestic argument led to a knife and sawed-off shotgun.
Police were called to the Vermont Plaza Apartments in the city at 7:23 p.m. Wednesday for a man with a knife, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Troy Bailey was found in the lobby and detained while officers investigated.
They found that during an argument with a woman companion, he pulled a knife, threatening the woman, and then fled.
Officer Scott Sendrick recovered the knife and also wound a sawed-off shotgun with ammunition, Fair said.
Bailey, 49, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a shotgun, certain person not to possess a weapon, simple assault and terroristic threats.
He is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
