Two injured in crash the took down Rt. 30 traffic light

  • News

Two people were injured and a traffic light knocked down after a Texas man cut off another car on Route 30, Atlantic City police said.
Kevin Arceneaux was heading east in the right lane just after 7 Friday morning when he made a left turn at Grammercy Avenue, into the path of another vehicle, according to the report.
The impact caused Arceneaux's vehicle to knock down the traffic light and roll over into the westbound lanes, Fair said.
Arceneaux and the other driver — a 22-year-old Galloway Township woman — were both taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment.
The Department of Transportation repaired the traffic light.
Arceneaux, 34, of Dayton, Texas, was issued summonses for reckless driving and making an unsafe lane change.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Atlantic City Police Department Accident Investigations Section at 609-347-5744 or anonymously text tip411 (847411), beginning the text with ACPD.
