Alleged drug use inside Ventnor Wawa leads to arrests outside

  • News

Three people face drug charges after a call to Ventnor police about someone using drugs in a Wawa bathroom.
Police were called to the Wawa on Ventnor Avenue by a resident who thought a man may have injected drugs there and then got into the driver’s seat of a car parked outside, acting Capt. Joe Fussner said.
The man, Dominick Tardo, was found inside the car, along with two passengers, according to the report.
Officers seized heroin, crack cocaine, paraphernalia used to package and distribute drugs, cash and brass knuckles, Fussner said.
Tardo and his passengers Jacob Potash, 35, of Monsey, N.Y., and Pamela Pajuelo, 29, of Brooklyn, were charged with drug and weapons offenses, and given summonses.
Tardo, 27, of Marlboro, was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on unrelated matters.
