Northfield police are looking for a man assaulted a jogger at Birch Grove Park on Tuesday afternoon.
As the was running past the man at about 4:30 p.m., he dropped his pants and began to masturbate while lunging at her, the 28-year-old woman told police.
She said the man tried to grab her collar, but she was able to push him away, Capt. Steve Steinecke said.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male about 5-foot-11 and 25 to 35 years old. He has a thin build, round face, dark hair and a slight mustache. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
A perimeter was set in place, but police were unable to find the assailant, Steinecke said.
The description matches that of a man who assaulted a woman at the park in 2017. No arrest was made in that case.

Police say those exercising in isolated areas should go in groups of two or more.
"If this is not possible please use well-traveled areas," police said.
