Police are investigating a crash that left a man trapped in his vehicle in Egg Harbor Township.
The crash happened just before 7:40 p.m. in the township's West Atlantic City section, police said.
An investigation found that township resident Jake Matlock failed to maintain his lane while heading west on the Black Horse Pike, Lt. Cherie Burgan said.
Matlock's pickup sideswiped a 2015 Ford Mustang driven by Richard Graham, also of Egg Harbor Township, according to the report.
Matlock lost control and spun off the road near Genoa Avenue, striking two poles and three vehicles parked in the Lighthouse Motors lot, Burgan said. The collision caused the pickup to overturn, trapping Matlock inside.
Members of the West Atlantic City Volunteer Fire Company helped get Matlock out of his car, and he as taken to the hospital for minor injuries, Burgan said.
Graham was not injured.
Officer Edward Stearns is investigating the crash.
