A shot was fired during an armed robbery in Pleasantville on Wednesday night.No one was injured.The city's audio gunshot detection system, ShotSpotter, brought police to the area of Main Street and Washington Avenue at 9:45 p.m., Capt. Matt Hartman said.Less than a minute after patrol units arrived, 911 was called for the report of a man and woman robbed at gunpoint, Hartman said.The victims said a shot was fired during the attempt, but no one was hit.The suspect then fled on a bicycle, according to the report.The only description was a white male dressed all in black.Units were searching the area Wednesday night, Hartman said.
