A Mays Landing woman was seriously injured when she was struck crossing the Black Horse Pike with her two small children in Egg Harbor Township.The children were not injured.NIa Lovelace was pushing a carriage with her infant son inside just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, when she was struck by a car heading east driven by Boris Tabekman, Lt. Michael Finnerty said. Her 6-year-old son was walking with her.Lovelace, 27, sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to the report. The infant remained in the carrier inside the stroller at all times, and no injuries were found after he was evaluated at the hospital.The older boy was not involved in the crash, Finnerty said.Tabekman, 65, of Mays Landing, was not hurt.The crash is being investigated by Officer Robert Moran. Traffic citations are pending.
