One man shot, another stabbed in separate Atlantic City incidents

A man was shot and another was stabbed in separate incidents Friday in Atlantic City.

Police were called to the 600 block of Green Street just before 6:30 p.m. for the report of a man shot.

Officers found the 54-year-old man with serious injuries, and he was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.

The shooting is being investigated by the Violent Crimes Unit. 

About two hours later, patrol officers responded to a call in the 400 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue, and found a 25-year-old man stabbed.

He was taken to AtlantiCare for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

It is being investigated by the Street Crimes Unit.

Police did not release the names of the victims.
