One jailed, one wanted in Atlantic City armed robbery

One man was arrested and another is wanted in an armed robbery inside an Atlantic City woman's home.Hiram Woods, 22, was arrested after returning to the area during a fight, police said.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of Caspian Avenue at 11:44 a.m. Tuesday for a robbery.
The 29-year-old victim told police two men robbed her at gunpoint inside her residence.
The men stole money and were tracked by Surveillance Center personnel running into an adjacent building, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit obtained still shots of the suspects, and distributed them to officers, Fair said. One of the men was wearing a mask.
Officers were again called to the same block of Caspian Avenue at 8:30 that night for the report of a fight, according to the report.
The officers were told that one of the robbery suspects was there during the fight, Fair said.
Officer Richard Link searched the area and found Woods, who first gave an alias, according to the report.But his true identity was determined and he was arrested without incident, Fair said.
Detectives are asking the public's help in finding out the identity of the masked suspect.Woods, who lives in Atlantic City, was charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, hindering apprehension, conspiracy and violation of the emergency orders.
He also had a contempt of court warrant.
Woods is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Note: The Atlantic County Justice Facility no longer provides mugshots to the media, citing the Atlantic County prosecutor’s order. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says it’s part of the Attorney General’s Guidelines. There is no such guideline, according to the Attorney General’s Office, but they have told these offices for years that they should not release any photos that appear to be mugshots.
