A 17-year-old is charged in a Galloway Township shooting that wounded a man Monday night.
Police were called to a fight just after 8 p.m. in the area of Building #6 on Federal Court in the Clubs, Lt. Christopher McGinty said.
Jose Pacheco, 27, has already been taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus with gunshot wounds, according the report.
He was later transferred to Atlanticare's Trauma Unit in Atlantic City for treatment.
A review of closed-circuit surveillance cameras led to the identity of a suspect, McGinty said.
The juvenile was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
He is in the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center pending court.
Galloway police were assisted by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, Atlantic County SWAT Team, Galloway Township Ambulance Squad and The Bayview Fire Department.
