One rescued from Atlantic City house fire

Atlantic City firefighters pulled one person from a house fire Tuesday.
The fire was in a two-story woodframe home in the 400 block of Madison Avenue, Fire Chief Scott Evans said.
It began in the front bedroom and extended to the attic area, he said.
Ladder 1 rescued one person from the bedroom. The injured person was sent to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where the condition was not immediately available.
