A car stop led to the arrest of two Atlantic City men on drug charges.
Michael Hayes was unable to provide identification when he as stopped at Ohio and Morningside avenues just before 2 a.m. Tuesday, so Officers Ivaylo Ivanov and Wahab Malik asked him to exit the vehicle, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
That is when Ivanov saw marijuana on the floorboard, according to the report.
Police found marijuana along with 67 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, Fair said.
Hayes, 47, and his passenger, 29-year-old James Sanders Jr., were both arrested and charged with possession, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hayes also received a motor vehicle summons.
Both were released on warrants.
