An ongoing dispute between families allegedly led to the killing of a teenager on his front porch in Atlantic City.
A man and woman have been arrested in the killing of the 17-year-old, so far only officially identified by his initials, C.W., Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
Lewis Johnson and Shaquana Lewis were arrested in Wilson Borough, Pa., Tuesday morning.
Johnson, 31, lives at the home where the two were arrested, according to court paperwork.
But he is listed as living in Newark. Lewis, 35, is from Pleasantville.
Both are charged with murder.
Tyner commended his office's Major Crimes Unit, the Atlantic City Police Department, Wilson Borough police and the Pennsylvania State Police SWAT Team "for the swift identification and apprehension" of Johnson and Lewis.
"After all the challenges that we are currently confronted with in this country, the lack of value for human life still puzzles me," he said. "I am hopeful that the family of the victim has some measure of comfort knowing that those suspected of causing the death of their loved one are in police custody.”
