Two teen boys were arrested Wednesday for allegedly robbing a mother and daughter.
Atlantic City's Surveillance Center staff were able to track the suspects.
Officers Malik Tolbert and Shawn Dansby were called to the 1300 block of Atlantic Avenue to find a mother and her teenage daughter who reported being robbed.
The two told police they were walking in the area when the girl was assaulted and her cell phone taken by two boys, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
The teenage girl was treated for injuries at the scene.
Surveillance Center personnel began to check the cameras in the area of the robbery and found the two suspects before and after the robbery, Fair said.
Officers went to a residence in the Disston Apartments and found two 15-year-old boys who were involved, Fair said.
One of the teens had the stolen cell phone, according to the report.
Both were charged with robbery, simple assault and conspiracy. They were taken to the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
