An Atlantic City police officer is on administrative duty after he allegedly failed to ring up some merchandise at a Walmart the self-checkout
Officer Victor Tweedle, 49, is accused of shoplifting $55.54 worth of items on March 22 from the Walmart in Egg Harbor Township.
"Officer Tweedle is on administrative duty pending the outcome of the charges and the completion of an Internal Affairs investigation that has been initiated in conjunction with the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office," Atlantic City police spokesman Lt. Kevin Fair said.
