An armed Pennsylvania man allegedly terrorized residents of a Mullica Township home Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 1700 block of Darmstadt Avenue for the report of a man with a gun, police said.
When officers arrived, multiple victims were running from the residence to flee the gunman, Detective Barry Heffley said.
Police found William Cleveland, 39, in the rear of the property, according to the report. After numerous verbal commands from officers, he was taken into custody.
Cleveland was extremely intoxicated at the time, according to the report.
A gold-plated .45-caliber handgun was recovered at the scene.
Cleveland is charged with three counts of terroristic threats with a deadly weapon and one count of possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose.
He is currently in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
