Detectives are investigating a hit-and -run that killed an Egg Harbor Township woman Tuesday morning.
Star Wardell, 61, was crossing Washington Avenue just after midnight when she was struck and killed, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced Monday.
The vehicle involved fled the scene, Shill said.
No description was released.
