Little Egg Harbor Township detectives are investigating after a juvenile was bitten in the face by a dog.
Police were called to Falcon Drive at 6:43 p.m. Tuesday, and found a 7-year-old boy had been bitten in the face and was bleeding.
Officers provided immediate first aid to the juvenile, who was then taken to the Southern Ocean County Medical Center, according to report.
Due to the extent of his facial injuries, the juvenile was then taken by helicopter to the Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he is being treated and is in stable condition, police said.
