A man was shot multiple times in Somers Point just after midnight Monday.
Police were called to the Somers Point Apartments at about 12:15 a.m., police said. They were told that a white sport utility vehicle had sped from the scene.
Officers found the SUV at Pennsylvania and New Road, and found a 33-year-old man with gunshot wounds, according to the report.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Trauma Unit in Atlantic City. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
