An Atlantic City man who was just released from prison in April has been arrested in two shootings.
Now police are looking for one of his alleged victims — who is accused of brandishing a gun at his attacker minutes before the shooting.
Marcus Seda, 25, was arrested Tuesday in the 1100 block of Arctic Avenue after an investigation led to a warrant in a shooting four days earlier.
A short time later, police were told that Rumeijah Norwood arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus with a gunshot wound, according to the report.
An investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit led to Seda. Detectives also determined that Norwood had pointed a handgun at Seda about 10 minutes before the shooting, Fair said.
Seda had three pending weapons cases when he was arrested in January 2019 with a gun. He was sentenced to five years in prison that July, Department of Corrections records show. He was released April 24.
Seda is now jailed on two counts of aggravated assault, along with one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and certain person not to possess a weapon due to his prior criminal history.
Norwood, 28, is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and certain person not to possess a weapon.
Anyone with additional information about either of the incidents or whereabouts of Norwood is asked to contact the Atlantic City police at 609-347-5766. Information may also be texted anonymously to tip411 (847411), beginning the text with ACPD.
