Two arrested in alleged Brigantine drug deal

Two men were arrested Saturday after they allegedly conducted a drug deal near the Wawa on Brigantine Boulevard.
Detectives George O'Donoghue and William Ferris Jr. found a brick of heroin with the help of Linwood K-9 Offier Charles Champion and his partner, Kaos, according to police.
In addition to the 50 bags of heroin, a small amount of suspected crack cocaine and Ecstasy were also seized at the location at 3932 Brigantine Boulevard, according to the report.
Ivan Diaz, 30, of Brigantine, was charged with possession, conspiracy to possess and loitering/wandering to obtain a controlled dangerous substance.
Chad Ifill, 32, of Atlantic City, was charged with possession, distribution and conspiracy to possess CDS.
