Two men were wounded in an Egg Harbor Township shooting last week, police have confirmed.
Police were called to shots fired in the Pleasant Woods neighborhood in the township's Farmington section of Egg Harbor Township at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Lt. Heath Per said Monday.
Officers found two men — ages 18 and 20 — who suffered gunshot wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
Both were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment.
A preliminary investigation found that the men were shot and an unknown suspect or suspects fled.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
Police say that the victims were not associated with the neighborhood, referred to as Birdland. Neither man lives in the township.
