An Atlantic City man was killed in a shooting Saturday in Egg Harbor Township.
About six shots were heard before 7 p.m., leading police to the 200 block of Cedar Avenue.
Rennel Turner, 54, was found unconscious in a driveway, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said Monday evening.
Township and Pleasantville police responded.
Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy listed his cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds.
It was not clear why Tyner's office waited two days to confirm the killing.
He did not comment on whether it was related to another shooting in the township about and hour and a half later, that injured a 19-year-old man.
The homicide is being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and township police.
