An Ocean County man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on the Garden State Parkway, State Police confirmed.
A Mack dump truck was heading south when it struck a guardrail and overturned into an embankment at milepost 37.4 in Egg Harbor Township, Sgt. Philip Curry told BreakingAC.
Driver Brandon Lawson, 24, of Manchester, sustained fatal injuries.
The left southbound lane was closed for approximately seven hours.
The crash remains under investigation.
