A Somers Point man died in a crash on the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday morning.
Carl Tobie, 59, was driving a Honda Accord when he crashed with another driver in an Infiniti around mile marker 35.3 northbound in Egg Harbor Township, Trooper Alejandro Goez said.
The other driver was not injured.
Tobie's vehicle went off the road at mile marker 39.7 in Galloway Township, and became engulfed in flames, according to the report.
The circumstances of the crash and the vehicle fire are under investigation, Goez said.
An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
